1. Information We Collect

Registration information
Name, email address, password (stored in encrypted form) and profile photo
Identity verification information
Images of the identity documents submitted when registering as a Partner. These are used only for the approval review.
Transaction information
Request details, item names, amounts, handover method, place of handover or delivery address, and messages exchanged
Usage information
Technical information such as access dates and times and browser type, to the extent necessary to improve the Service

2. Purposes of Use

  • To provide the Service and to conclude and perform transactions
  • To verify identity and prevent unauthorized use
  • To contact you about the progress of transactions
  • To respond to inquiries
  • To improve the quality of the Service

3. Information Disclosed Between Users

Your name, profile photo and the information necessary for handover are shown only to the other party to a transaction that has been concluded. This information is not shown to users with whom you have no transaction.

Images of identity documents are never disclosed to other users under any circumstances. Only the Company's reviewers can view them.

4. Provision to Third Parties

We do not provide personal information to third parties without the individual's consent, except in the following cases.

  • Where required by law
  • Where it is necessary to protect a person's life, body or property and it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent
  • Where we have the service providers listed below handle the information to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use

We use the following external services to operate the Service. Each of them is a business that takes appropriate security control measures.

6. Retention Period

We retain personal information for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of use and for the period required by law. If you close your account, images of your identity documents will be deleted promptly. Transaction records may be retained for a certain period where necessary for tax purposes and for handling disputes.

7. Notification Email Settings

Emails about the progress of transactions are sent because they are necessary for transactions to proceed properly. Notifications of new Requests are optional, and you can change whether you receive them at any time in your account settings.

8. Requests for Disclosure, Correction or Deletion

If you wish to request the disclosure, correction, suspension of use or deletion of your personal information, please contact infor@spiderwaves.co.jp. After confirming your identity, we will respond in accordance with the law.

9. Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use your browser's storage to keep you signed in. We do not carry out tracking by third parties for advertising purposes.
